Ours is a story that began in Christ, when He planted the seeds of our church more than two decades back, in 1994. Traversing the course of time, we have come a long way. With our growth deep-rooted in the Bible in its entirety...

one body, so also is Christ. For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—whether Jews or
Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all been made to drink into one Spirit. For in fact the body is
not one member but many.” – 1 Corinthians 12:12
Our primary intent is to ensure that every one of our members attains growth and development in their
spiritual lives so that we are able to fulfil our calling – be it as an individual, a family, or as a church.
Holding the Bible as our core and our base, we are a mission-centric church. With a view to touch and
change the lives of people in considerably remote areas in India, our sister concern Carmel Good News
Mission has been active in Andhra Pradesh over the last four years. It is undoubtedly our debt to share
the gospel with those around us, each of us according to God’s will for us.
To worship the Father in the Spirit and in the name of Jesus Christ, we gather together every Friday
morning so we are revitalized by the Word of God as well as by the fellowship we share and cherish. We
also meet on Sunday evenings to study specific topics from the Bible to satisfy our spiritual appetites for
a deeper and broader understanding of the Word. Besides, we also meet for intercessory prayer on
Tuesdays and then for fellowship on Thursdays.
It is definitely a rare person who has not heard of or read Jesus’ utterance, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” Our children are provided with every resource they need to grow up to be boys and girls, men and women who are pleasing in God’s sight. To do justice to their thirst for knowledge, we have classes every Friday immediately after our worship session. These classes are aimed at bringing the Word of God to the forefront of our children’s minds as well as their lives, while also teaching them ways to administer it in their lives. Our dedicated teachers train them and enable them in Christ to discern good from evil so they are ready for the kingdom that is theirs.
The women of our church meet on a weekly basis to strengthen each other spiritually through prayer and to share their learnings from the Word of God. These meetings are conducted every Friday for an hour and are a source of great blessing for our women, families as well as the church as a whole.
Solomon, in his wisdom, says in the book of Ecclesiastes, “Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth, before the difficult days come” (Ecc.12:1) Our youth, empowered by knowledge of God’s word, and with wholehearted reverence, come together to lead praise and worship sessions, and find novel ways to teach their learnings of the Bible to those around them. Our monthly PYPA (Pentecostal Youth People’s Association) gatherings encourage the youth of our church to take their talents to the stage, and use them to glorify the name of God.
